Justina Blakeney's Jungalow home collection

Jungalow began in 2009 as a design blog that Justina Blakeney started in her tiny, plant-filled living room in Los Angeles. She is the brand's founder and Creative Director, and the studio grounds its work in nature, joyful self-expression and color.

Blakeney is a multidisciplinary designer, artist and New York Times bestselling author, and Architectural Digest named her to its AD100 list. Her 2015 book The New Bohemians explores 20 homes and includes 12 DIY projects.

A home style shaped by collaborations and growth

Jungalow partnered with Target for four years on the Opalhouse collection, with more than 1,000 products and campaign creative from its studio. The current Target assortment includes quilt sets, duvet covers and throws, while the Ruggable collaboration adds woven pillows, doormats and rugs.

Jungalow became a Certified B Corporation in 2025, affirming its work for people and the planet. Blakeney's 2026 collaboration with her mother, developmental psychologist Dr. Ronnie Blakeney, is Grow, a 50-card deck with a 228-page guidebook.

Where I would start with Justina Blakeney's home style

Begin with the Natalia quilt set if you want the bed to carry the pattern, then let one rug ground the room. Add a Soleil throw or a single woven pillow once the larger pieces are in place. Leave space for plants, art and the objects that make a home feel like your own.
